This is a beautiful bold bracelet, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Mellerio- Dits Meller, during the postwar period circa 1950. The bracelet is completely flexible with intricate mesh patterns and crafted with substantial weight in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish. The bracelet is pretty long, can be easily shortened on special request and is fitted with a concealed security push lock. Jewelry pieces from Mellerio are very collectible and hard to see in today’s aftermarket.

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; twice with the head of the eagle for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the six-digits serial numbers and signed as follow, "MELLERIO PARIS 1091-BT".
Mellerio-Dits Meller
This is a French jewelry house, founded in 1613, and still active today. It claims to be the oldest family company in Europe. It gives its name to the Mellerio cut, a 57-facet jewel cut, shaped as an oval within an ellipse. Today Mellerio is based at Rue de la Paix, Paris, with branches in Luxembourg and Japan.
