An art deco platinum ring with sapphires designed by Cartier

This is a beautiful antique cocktail ring, created by the French jewelry house of Cartier during the art deco period, back in 1930. The elegant ring was crafted with classic patterns in solid .900/.999 platinum with high polished finish. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones, such; fourteen white colorless diamonds and one blue sapphire. The ring is designed with rectangular-squared shape and the gem's settings are finished with millegrain patterns.

Diamond: Mounted around in millegrain flush setting, with 14 calibrated European round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight of about 0.88 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.

Sapphire: Mount in the center in a millegrain bezel setting, with 1 rectangular-squared step cut (6.5 x 5.5 x 3 mm) of a natural blue sapphire, with a weight of about 2.14 carats.

Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.

Weight: 3.8 Grams, (2.45 Dwt).

Size: 5.5 and may be easily sized on request.

Measurements: 14 mm by 14 mm (0.56 x 0.56 Inches) and raise 5 mm over the finger.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the platinum, the four-digits serial numbers and signed as follows: "CARTIER 0759 .900", and electronically tested for .900/.999 platinum.

Millegrain 

This is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.
