ART DECO 1930 Geometric Ring In Platinum With 1.69 Ctw In Diamonds & Sapphires
An American art deco ring with sapphires.
This is a beautiful antique cocktail ring, created in America during the Art- deco period, back in the 1930. The ring is gorgeous, clearly scream art deco and was entirely crafted in solid platinum with polished finish. It is embellished with a great selection of forty-three earth mined natural gemstones, such; calibre blue sapphires and white colorless diamonds. The ring is designed with geometric shapes and the gemstones settings are finished with millegrain patterns.
Diamond: Mount in the center in a millegrain round bezel settings, with 1 European round cut diamonds, 0.49 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Diamonds: Mount around the center in millegrain flush pave settings, with 28 European round cut diamonds, 0.36 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Sapphires: Mount in channel millegrain settings, with 14 French calibre cabochons cut of natural blue sapphires, with a weight of about 0.84 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.
Weight: 5.45 Grams, (3.50 Dwt).
Size: 7.5 and may be easily sized up or down on special request.
Measurements: 18 mm by 21 mm (0.71 x 0.83 Inches) and raise 6 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: The ring was electronically tested for platinum and is stamped with the exact weight of the central diamond and the minor diamonds around, as follow; "C 0.49 / 0.36".
Millegrain
