Pair of earrings designed by Seaman Schepps.

A jeweled colorful pair, created by Seaman Schepps at their atelier in New York city. They are crafted in solid 18 karats of polished yellow gold and suited with hinged omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for piercing can be easily added.

They are caged with a pair of shrimps cabochons cut of natural translucent carnelians of about 40 carats.

Accented at the sides, with 28 prongs settings, mounted with round brilliant cuts of natural Orange Citrines, with a combined weight of 2.80 carats

The total weight of this pair is 27.1 grams and the measures are, 25 mm by 18 mm.

Both are stamped at the reverse with the company maker's logo, the serial number, the assay hallmarks and signed, "SEAMAN SCHEEPS C .750 P6389".

Seaman Schepps was an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
