Cocktail ring Designed by David Webb (1925-1975).
Very beautiful and colorful cocktail ring, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb. This gems-set vintage cocktail ring has been carefully crafted in high polished finish solid yellow gold of 18 karats with parts in platinum or the settings of the diamonds. The ring is embellished with eight natural earth mined gemstones such diamonds, an emerald, a ruby and a sapphire.

Emerald: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (6 x 4.5 x 3.5 mm) of a translucent Colombian green emerald of about 0.75 carats.
Ruby: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (6 x 4.5 x 3.5 mm) of a vivid red ruby of about 1.03 carats.
Sapphire: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (6 x 4.5 x 3.5 mm) of a royal blue sapphire of about 1.02 carats.
Diamonds: Mounted in a pave setting, with 5 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.30 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 17.25 Grams, (11.06 Dwt).
Size: 6.5 and may be sized on request.
Measurements: 23 mm by 20 mm (0.91 x 0.79 Inches) and raise 9 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay of the gold and platinum, and signed, "©WEBB 18 KT PLAT".
David Webb
He was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. He born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
