This is a beautiful and exceptionally rare pair of clip-on earrings, created in New York City by Seaman Schepps–Trianon during the 1980s. Designed in an elegant rectangular form, each earring is centered with an irregularly shaped carved cabochon of natural Colombian green emerald, displaying the rich and distinctive color characteristic of fine Colombian material. Masterfully hand-crafted in solid 18-karat yellow gold with a high-polished finish, the earrings are fitted at the reverse with secure omega-back clip mechanisms for comfortable fastening. Posts for pierced ears can be added upon request. A beautiful and highly unusual pair, these earrings combine the sculptural character of Seaman Schepps with exceptional natural emeralds and fine New York craftsmanship, making them a rare, sophisticated, and highly collectible addition to any jewelry collection.

Emeralds: Bezel set in the centers, with 2 irregular cabochons cut (12 x 9 x 5.5 mm), carved from natural Colombian vivid green translucent emeralds, with a combined estimate weight of about 8.76 carats.

Birthstone: Emeralds for the month of May.

Hallmarks: They are each stamped with the maker's mark monogram, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt yellow gold, the five-digits unique serial numbers and signed in full as follows, "T-36844".

Seaman Schepps 

They are an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
