Being offered is a very rare octagonal vase created by Schroth in New York City by for the jewelry house of Cartier, back in 1950. The fine modernist vase was masterfully handcrafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with polished finish. Very sleek and unusual piece with beautiful sculptural craftmanship. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent, if not in pristine condition. Schroth House of Silver, was founded by Master Silversmith Wolfgang Schroth in 1965 in Montville, NJ, was a renowned creator of high-quality, hand-crafted sterling silver, specializing in hollowware. Based in a restored 1805 farmhouse, the firm gained national acclaim for manufacturing custom pieces supplied to jewelry brands like Cartier, Georg Jensen, and Tiffany & Co.
