The hallmark on this box is that of Charles Thomae indicating that it was his personal design,. Thomae left the firm in 1920 to create his own business in Attleboro producing a variety of silver smalls items. This new company created a different hallmark, but if it was designed by Charles Thomae himself, his hallmark was used instead of that of his new company.
