Beautiful lift arm petrol lighter, created in the city of Taxco in Mexico during the late Art Deco period, circa 1940. It was crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. The system of this lighter is a copy of the 1927 Dunhill lighter named Unique, a revolutionary development resulting in the first lighter to operate with only one hand. 

Weight: 62.20 Grams, (39.87 Dwt).

Measurements: 41.5 mm by 40 mm x 17 mm (1.63 x 1.57 x 0.67 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "MEXICO STERLING".
