An art nouveau necklace designed by Fratelli Peruzzi.
Beautiful antique necklace, created at the workshop of the Fratelli Peruzzi in Florence Italy, back in the 1920. This piece was crafted with art nouveau and art & craft patterns in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with patinated finish. Fitted on top with a movable ring of 6 mm and a long chain.
Moonstone: Mounted in a bezel setting, with 1 cabochon pear cut (15 x 9 x 5 mm) of a moonstone with 4.83 carats.
Birthstone: For the month of June.
Weight: 10.20 Grams, (10.54 Dwt).
Size: The lenght of the chain is 26 Inches (66 Cm.).
Measurements: The pendant is 23 mm by 51 mm (0.91 x 2.01 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped in a plaque with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "FRATELLI PERUZZI MADE IN ITALY STERLING".
Fratelli Peruzzi
Fratelli Peruzzi is one of Florence’s oldest workshops and the Peruzzis have been silversmiths for four generations. Their trademark, F1114, has become sought after by worldwide collectors, but they also sell the best international brands. They are silversmiths in Florence for nearly 150 years, Fratelli Peruzzi were founded in 1880 by Giuseppe Peruzzi and his wife Giulia. The shop moved from its original premises only for the time necessary for reconstruction after World War One. On the ground floor, the shop sells silver household items and children’s silverware, as well as a wide selection of men’s and women’s jewelry. The first floor houses the workshop, where one-of-a-kind pieces are made by hand.
