Italian modernist necklace with salmon corals.

This beautiful modernist necklace, was created in Italy back in the 1970. The necklace has been crafted with a substantial bold look with parts made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish and carvings of natural salmon corals. The necklace is accented with forty-three earth mined natural diamonds and one-hundred-eighteen corals. Fitted with a concealed security push box and a hinged slash for extra safety.

Coral: Mounted in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochons cut (20 X 15 X 6 mm) carved from natural salmon coral with an estimate weight of about 15 carats.

Corals: Mounted in two knotted strands, with 118 calibrated spheres-beads carved from natural salmon coral with an estimate total weight of about 41.30 carats.

Diamonds: Mounted in flush settings, with 43 well matched round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 1.29 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Birthstone: Corals for the month of April.
