Jeweled Art Deco platinum ring.
A beautiful historical piece from the American Art-deco period, circa 1930. It was carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum with .100/.999 Iridium and embellished with fine natural gemstones.
Mounted in the center in four-prongs, with one round oval double cabochon cut (14.38 x 13.02 x 8.05 mm) of a natural Ceylon blue star sapphire of 15.11 carats.
The sapphire is natural Ceylon (Sri Lanka), not treated or heated and show a well centered great asterism of 6 rays.
Accented at the sides with a pair of Tapered baguettes, 0.38 carats, F color VS-2 clarity.
Have a total weight of 6.9 grams and the actual size is 6, sizable.
The top view measures are 14.5 mm by 20.2 mm.
Collateral: This piece is accompanied by the GIA laboratory report number 2221181587 stating is a natural star sapphire of 15.11 carats, semi-transparent, not heated and from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) origin.
