This is an outstanding cocktail ring, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb. This gorgeous classic cocktail ring has been carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum with high polished finish and is embellished with a great assortment of thirty-five natural earth mined gemstones, such; white colorless diamonds and a fantastic Brazilian aquamarine.
Aquamarine: Mount in four-prongs setting, with 1 square step cut (20 x 20 x 14 mm) of a translucent blue aquamarine with a weight of about 34.67 carats, by formula.
Diamonds: Mounted at the sides in pave settings, with 34 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with about 2.72 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.
Weight: 26.65 Grams, (17.10 Dwt).
Size: 4.5 and may be sized up or down on special request.
Measurements: 26 mm by 20 mm (1.02 x 0.79 Inches) and raise 15 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay and warranty of the platinum, the four digits serial numbers and signed as follows, "©WEBB PLAT MA65".
David Webb
He was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. He born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
