An Austro-Hungarian suite of earrings and ring
This is a beautiful and very attractive antique set, composed by a pair of earrings and ring created during the Austro-Hungarian empire period, back in 1900. The three pieces were crafted with floral textured patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with silver toppings for the settings of the gemstones. They are embellished with forty-eight natural gemstones, such; blue sapphires and rose cuts diamonds. The earrings are fitted at the reverse with hooks and a hinged French backs.
Sapphires: The centers are mounted, with 3 round faceted cuts of natural blue sapphires, with a total weight of about 1.80 Carats.
Diamonds: Surrounded around, with 45 calibrated European rose cuts diamonds with a combined weight of about 1.35 Carats, white colorless G/H color, VS/SI clarity.
Weight: The three pieces have a combined weight of 22.4 grams, (14.40 Dwt.).
Size: The ring is 5.5 and may be sized up or down on special request.
Measures: 22 mm by 24 mm, (0.87 x 0.95 Inches).
Hallmarks: Unmarked as usual and electronically tested for 18kt gold and .800 silver.
Collateral: This set is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Austro-Hungarian set is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 48 gemstones are secured in the settings. This set has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
