An Egyptian revival ring.

Magnificent antique 19th century ring, created in Europe in the Egyptian revival style, back in the 1860's. The outstanding ring has been crafted with classic patterns in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish. The main decorative element is the elegant portrait in profile of an Egyptian queen facing to the left and wearing diamond's jewelry such, dangle earrings and a tiara. The queen's portrait is decorated with the difficult polychrome enamel technique, called Peinture sur émail. The craftmanship is exceptionally well done and surely is a one-of-a-kind conversation piece.
