BUCCELLATI Milano Baroque Ring In 18Kt Gold With Blue Sapphires & Diamonds

This is a stunning band ring, created in Milano Italy by the famous jewelry house of Buccellati, back in the 1970. This ring was masterfully crafted in the Baroque renaissance styles in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and accents of white gold for the setting of the gemstones. The ring is embellished with the Buccellati characteristic iconic Florentine etchings patterns and mounted with thirteen earth mined natural gems, such; white colorless diamonds and vivid royal blue sapphires.
Sapphires: Mount in bezels settings, with 3 round faceted cut of natural vivid blue sapphires, with a combined weight of about 0.45 carats.
Diamonds: Mounted in flush settings, with 10 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.24 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 6.25 grams (4.15 Dwt).
Size: 8.5 and may be sized up or down on special request.
Measures: 23 mm by 7.5 mm, (0.91 x 0.30 Inches) and raise 5 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with Italian control marks, the maker's mark *15MI associated to Buccellati, the mark for the assay of the .750/.999 yellow gold and signed as follow, "BUCCELLATI ITALY .750 15MI".
Mario Buccellati
He was born in 1891 and opened his first enterprise in 1919, after the establishment of stores in Milan, Rome and Florence, began the development of his overseas business by opening a new store on Fifth Avenue in New York in 1954 and another in Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida in 1958. In 1949, Mario Buccellati was commissioned to create an icon by Pope Pius XII for Princess Margaret to mark the extraordinary power of the first visit of a British Royal to Vatican City in hundreds of years. This magnificent work of art can be admired today at the Chianciano Art Museum in Tuscany. In 1965, after the death of Mario, the management of the firm was conducted by four of his five sons. In 1971, the new brand Gianmaria Buccellati was launched by one of Mario's sons, who started a separate business from his brothers, and in 2011 came to an agreement with his relatives for the brand Buccellati, then Buccellati Holding Italia, reshape the company.
