Suite of four vegetables designed by Verdura.

This is a beautiful suite of four sculptural vegetables, created in Milano Italy by the luxury house of Verdura, back in the 1970. The vegetables were crafted in .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. These vegetables  are extremely decorative, the craftmanship and details are exceptional. They are a corncob, an onion, an artichoke and an eggplant. They are in great condition, the eggplant has some marks that don't detract, due to its condition of being a vegetable figure.

Composition: .925/.999 Sterling Silver.

Manufacture: Italy Milan.

Weight: Combining the four is 421.50 Grams, (270.20 Dwt). 

Measurements: They have different sizes, the smallest is 102 mm by 76 mm by 78 mm (4 x 3 x 3.07 Inches) and the largest is 178 mm by 52 mm by 57 mm (7 x 2.05 x 2.25 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed as follow: two of then, "VERDURA .925 *176MI", and two, ".925 *176MI".

Fulco Verdura

The Duke Fulco Di Verdura (1899-1978) start his career as a designer in Paris in 1920, Creating the iconic Maltese cross cuff bracelet for his friend Coco Chanel. In the 1934 he moved to the United States and closely collaborate with Paul Flato in California, designing jewelry for the Hollywood stars of the new movie era, including Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich. In the 1939, he moved again, but this time to the city of New York and open the Verdura boutique, in the Fifth Avenue location. in that period Verdura gain the estimation of the very high-profile clientele in the new York's high society.

ConditionThe overall condition of these four vegetable are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in the settings. This vegetables were carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
