CARVED SILKWORM AMULET FROM THE QING DYNASTY (1644-1911).
AN ANCIENT PORTABLE AMULET SCULPTURE OF A SILKWORM. CREATED DURING THE CHINESE, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911) PERIOD, Circa 18th CENTURY. IT WAS HAND CARVED FROM NATURAL TRANSLUCENT NEPHRITE WHITE JADE SHOWING THE THREE DIMENSIONAL FIGURE OF A SILKWORM.
VERY HANDSOME PIECE FOR DISPLAY, WITH GREAT CARVED DETAILS. IS SUITED WITH A PAIR OF TINY HOLES TO WEAR INTO A CORD OR JUST TO CARRY ON, IN THE POCKET.
THIS LITTLE CARVED SCULPTURE, HAVE A TOTAL WEIGHT OF 24.1 Grams (120.5 Carats) AND A MEASURES OF 50.3 BY 24.1 BY 12.4 mm (1.98 x 0.95 x 0.49 Inches).
