A statement wristwatch created in Genève Swiss by the Blancpain Watch Company, for the French market, back in the 1960. This beautiful mechanical bracelet-watch was made during the post war period with retro-modernist patterns. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and is fitted with a hinged hidden lid to discover the watch's dial. The links sections of the bracelet are flexible and made up with a bold patterns of stylized leaves embellished with applications of blue and green enamel. It is fitted with a security sleeved boxed lock and a hinged slash for extra safety. This ladies wristwatch is very unusual and rare, the design and the system are very Avant Garde for the period of manufacture.
Turquoises: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 36 round cabochon cut carved from natural blue turquoises with a combined weight of about 5.40 carats.
Diamonds: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 32 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.96 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Dial: Round golden, analog with batons and hands in black., inscribed France.
Movement: Swiss, mechanical manual winding. 17 Jewels, Ref-8668 A-380, Signed BLANCPAIN SWISS.
