Pair of convertible dangle earrings designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.

These pieces are extremely rare vintage collector's items, created in New York city at the Tiffany Studios by Paloma Picasso, back in the 1980's. A beautiful pair of convertible dangle drop earrings carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with the surfaces finished with a delicate brushed and hammered patterns. Fitted with hooks to convert in and out, retractable hinged posts and comfortable hinged French omega backs for fastening clips.

Gemstones: The dangle drops elements are carved from natural translucent Amber in the shape of faceted briolettes, with a weight of 36 carats.

Weight: 29.75 grams, (19.07 Dwt).

Measurements: 65 mm by 24 mm (2.55 x 0.96 Inches).

Hallmarks: They are both stamped at the reverse, with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark, the inventory numbers and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. .750 PALOMA PICASSO 1989 ITALY 20933".
