Beautiful and colorful statement geometric round earrings, created in London United Kingdom by the jewelry house of Leo De Vroomen, back in the 1993. This pair of earrings was carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karat, with high polished finish and fitted with hinged French omega backs for fastening clips. The optional posts for pierced ears can be easily added. Embellished with applications of hot enamel over a guilloche pattern.
Hematite: Mount in the centers in bezels settings, with 2 round cabochon cuts (14 x 14 x 7 mm) of blue turquoises, with a combined weight of 18 carats.
Weight: Combined of 24.50 grams (15.71 Dwt.).
Measurements: Diameter of 24.4 mm (1.0 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the head of the lion for the London city, the letter T for the production year of 1993, the maker's mark LDV inside a rectangle and signed, "DE VROOMEN T .750 L.D.V. Ste. SGDG".
Note: Guilloché is used in fine jewelry to enhance the appearance of brooches, rings and pendants. Guilloché enamel refers to metal pieces that have been given the Guilloché treatment and then covered with a translucent layer of enamel, giving the geometric patterns underneath the enamel a colorful hue.
