Hoops earrings designed by Jean Thierry Bondt.

Fabulous pair of hoops earrings, created in Paris France at the jewelry atelier of Jean Thierry Bondt, back in the late 1970. This gorgeous pair of earrings has been crafted as a left and right, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The earrings are mounted with a great selection of forty-two earth mined natural white diamonds. They are fitted at the reverse with gold posts for pierced ears and concealed French omega backs for fastening clips.

Diamonds: Mounted in a French pave setting, with 42 calibrated round brilliant-cut diamonds, with an estimate weight of 1.26 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.

Weight: 29.45 Grams, (18.90 Dwt).

Measurements: 32 mm by 30 mm by 9 mm (1.26 x 1.18 x 0.35 Inches).

Hallmarks They are both stamped with French marks; the maker's mark associated to Jean Thierry Bondt, the national export mark for the assay of the 18kt gold and signed, "JTB MADE IN FRANCE .750".

Jean Thierry Bondt

The history of the French jewelry brand JTB, founded by Jean Thierry Bondt, cover fifty years. The company and workshop was incorporated in January 1955, as “Soc Jean Thierry Bondt Joail”. The jewelry workshop of Jean Thierry Bondt was located in Paris 2 at 19 Rue De Choiseul. He was a very famous Parisian jeweler and jewelry designer who collaborated with such jewelry brands as Jacques Lacloche, Alain Boucheron, Mauboussin and Van Cleef and Arpels. Most active in the 1960 and 1970, Bondt created nature inspired and haute couture  brooches, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. Traditionally, the designer used high quality materials, mainly precious metals and stones such gold, platinum, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and others. The workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.

ConditionThe overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All diamonds are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
