*Yaacov Agam sculptural Op-Art secret ring in sterling silver with 6 Ctw in color gemstones
Op-Art ring designed by Yaacov Agam (B-1928).
A gorgeous wearable art-piece made by the op-art artist Agam. This double ring is called The Secret Ring-State 7, a kind of a kaleidoscope sculpture, crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polish finish.
Mounted, with 12 straight baguettes of natural multi-color gemstones with a combined weight of 6 carats.
They are; green peridot (2), violet iolite (2). blue aquamarine (1), orange citrine (1), violet amethyst (2), pink tourmaline (1) and red garnet (3). all gemstones have vivid colors, are transparent and with great color saturation.
Have a total weight of 10.9 grams and the actual size is 6.25, cannot be sized. the width measure is 7.5 mm.
Stamped, with the artist's signature, edition numbers and the assay hallmarks, "CFA STERLING AGAM 11/999".
Yaacov Agam, born in 11 may 1928. is an Israeli sculptor and experimental artist widely known for his contributions to the op-art and kinetic art. He was based in Paris most of his life, now is residing in Tel-Aviv Israel.
