A beautiful piece, created during the late Victorian era (1837-1901) circa 1900. This is a coins wallet crafted in the shape of a clam conch, in solid silver .900/.999. The interiors has three compartments, which are lined up with burgundy silk. Fitted with a discrete hinge and a security push button. 

Most probably this piece has been made in Spain, since the conch is the symbol for the patron of Santiago de Compostela.
