-Van Cleef & Arpels Paris Necklace In 18Kt Gold With 3.63 Ctw Diamonds And Sapphire

A necklace designed by Van Cleef & Arpels. 

Very beautiful statement necklace, created in Paris France by the iconic jewelry house of Van Cleef & Arpels. This elegant piece was made up with multiples flexible links, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined white colorless diamonds and blue sapphire. Fitted with a discrete security linked lock and a hinged snap slash for extra safety.

Diamonds: Mount in a French pave setting, with 38 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 2.28 carats, white colorless D/E color, VVS-1 clarity.

Sapphire: Mounted in the center, with 1 oval cabochon cut (8 x 6 x 4 mm) of a natural vivid royal blue sapphire of 1.35 carats.

Weight: 52.95 grams (33.94 Dwt.).

Size: 15.75 Inches (40 Cm).

Measures: The main element is  is 15 mm by 40 mm (0.59 x 1.57 inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, twice with the maker's maitre mark AV associated to Andre Vassort, the head of the eagle mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the serial numbers and signed, "VCA© OR .750 18KT C4332F2".

Note: The maker’s cartouche AV, is associated to the 1950's mark for the atelier of the master jeweler, Andre Vassort. The Mo. Andre Vassort atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 rue Sainte Anne. He collaborate very closely with Boucheron, Cartier, Fred and VCA between the 1950’s and 1980’s, the workshop operations was ceased.

Collateral: This necklace is accompanied by the designer's jewelry presentation box.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
