-Van Cleef & Arpels 1970 Paris Movable Heart Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Carved Wood

Beautiful and very rare vintage piece made in Paris, France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1970. This kinetic movable heart ring, was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and embellished on top, with a cabochon bombe cut carved from dark rosewood.

The design is composed of a heart-shaped piece tied to an oval ring, which moves freely. The effect it produces is in three dimensions and gives the visual sensation that it floats in the air.

Have a total weight of 14.2 grams and the actual ring size is 5.75, can be sized. The top view measurements are 25 mm by 20 mm.

Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's cartouche mark of P et Fils (Pery & Sons), the serial numbers and signed, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS .750 B5996-520".

Comments: This ring is very rare and is in brand new perfect condition, with no traces of any wear. This is the best graded of preservation for this model we have ever seen .
