Van Cleef & Arpels 1975 Paris Convertible Necklace In 18Kt Gold With 2.88 Cts In Diamonds
Convertible Necklace designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Beautiful and versatile vintage piece, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1975. It was carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and suited with a hinged element with a slash lock system to be interchangeable and converted.
Embellished with a magnificent full pave setting, composed by 96 Graduated round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight of 2.94 carats, D/E color, VS-1 clarity.
Has a combined weight of 11.2 Grams and the main drop element has a measure of 22 mm by 17 mm. The chain length is a standard 18 Inches (45 Cm).
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche P & Fils for Perry & Sons, the serial numbers, the date of fabrication 1975 and signed, "VCA OR .750 75 B4190 A226".
Note: Is not usual to found this piece, with the drop element with diamonds, usually seen with just the color hardstones.
Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This necklace has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
