Van Cleef And Arpels 1970 Paris Scalloped Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Carvings
Cocktail ring designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.
A bombe scalloped piece, created in Paris, France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1970's. Both parts are carefully carved and mounted together in a 18 karats yellow gold frame.
Have a total weight of 9.6 grams and the actual size is 4.25, cannot be enlarged.
The top view measures are 12 mm by 26 mm..
Stamped, with very clear French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche JTB, the serial numbers and signed, "VCA OR .750 B5018D49".
Note: The maker’s cartouche JTB, is associated to the French master jeweler, maitre Jean-Thierry Bondt. Monsieur Bondt workshop was located in Paris 2 at 19 rue de Choiseul, he collaborate, with Mauboussin, VCA, Cartier & Boucheron between the 1950’s and 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
