-Van Cleef Arpels 1960 Paris Brooch In 18Kt Gold With 4.64 Cts In Diamonds And Rubies

Very beautiful piece, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of  Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1960. This brooch has been crafted in three dimensions with textured patterns made up of solid yellow gold of 18 karats. Fitted at the reverse with a hinged double pin bars and a trombone security lock. Can be wear as a pendant in a chain or in a pearls necklace as a clip.

Diamond: Mount in the center in a four-prongs setting, with 1 European round cut diamond of 1.02 carats, white colorless E color, VS-1 clarity.

Diamonds: Mounted around in four-prongs settings, with 14 European round cut diamonds, 2.90 carats, white colorless E color, VS-1 clarity.

Rubies: Accented around in four-prongs settings, with 8 round cut of natural Burmese vivid red rubies, with a combined weight of 0.72 carats.

Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July.

Weight: 26.5 Grams, (16.98 Dwt.).

Measurements: 40 mm by 37 mm by 18 mm (1.57 x 1.46 x 0.71 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the serial numbers and signed, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS .750 8276CS"

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
