Pair of clips-earrings designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.
A vintage hoops clips-earrings created in Paris, France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels, around the 1960's. They were finely crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and are composed by a double hoop swirled pieces, with an horizontal textured pattern. Suited, with omega backs for non pierced and fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
Mounted, with a French pave setting of 24 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.20 carats, D/E color, VS-1 clarity.
They have a total weight of 17.98 grams and a measures of 22.5 mm by 12 mm.
Each piece is stamped, with French hallmarks; twice with the national eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, Ste V (Societe Van Cleef & Arpels), the unique serial numbers and signed "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS .750 5324444".
Note: This model also exist with the following variations; plain with no diamonds, with 12, 24 and full mount.
They are in perfect condition and are accompanied by the designer's jewelry boxes.
