Van Cleef & Arpels 1960 Paris Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Gold And Platinum With 1.76 Cts Diamonds
Cocktail ring designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Very nice vintage piece, made in Paris, France during the mid-century period, circa 1960. It was crafted at the Andre Vassort atelier in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum settings for the diamonds. Designed, with a pattern of multiples feathers and embellished with four-prongs settings.
The platinum settings are mounted, with 15 gradated (.06 to .20 cts) round brilliant cuts diamonds, with a total weight of 1.76 carats, E/F color, VVS-1 clarity.
Have a total weight of 19.7 grams and the actual size is 6, sizable.
The top view measures are 25 mm by 24.5 mm and raise 13 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with beautiful French hallmarks; the national mark of the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt, the dog head for the assay of the platinum, two times with the Minerva head for the exportation out of France, the maker's maitre cartouche for Vassort, the unique serial numbers and signed, "VCA MADE IN FRANCE 5V171.1 NEW YORK".
Note: The Mo A. Vassort jewelry atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 Rue Sainte Anne.
Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This ring has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
