Van Cleef And Arpels 1959 Paris Organic Textured Earrings In 18Kt Yellow Gold
Unique pair of earrings created by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Beautiful and chic vintage pair of clips-earrings, designed in Paris, France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels during the mid century period, back in the 1959. They was crafted with a fireworks patterns in solid 18 karats of textured yellow gold and suited with posts for pierced ears (Removable) and comfortable French hinged omega backs for fastening clips.
The weight of this pair is 19.9 grams and the overall measures are 26 mm by 24 mm (1.02 x 0.95 inch).
Stamped at the reverse, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche mark JTB for Jean-Thierry Bondt, the unique serial number and signed in full, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS .750 OR C 59 B7730".
Note: Monsieur Bondt workshop was located in Paris 2 at 19 Rue De Choiseul, he collaborate closely with Boucheron and VCA between the 1960’s and the 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.
Note: We have seen this model with and without diamonds and smaller pistil in the center.
Collateral: They are accompanied by the designer's jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this earrings is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
