Cocktail ring designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.

A sculptural bold piece, created by Paloma Picasso at the Tiffany Studios in New York city, back in the 1980's. This wavy large cocktail ring was carefully crafted with a cushioned two levels shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with very high polished finish.

Gemstone: Bezel set on top with one cushion sugarloaf cabochon cut (12 x 10 x 7.1 mm) of a beautiful natural Brazilian pink tourmaline of 7.28 carats.

Weight: 18.95 grams. (12.15 Dwt).

Size: 8.5 and very easy to resize.

Measurements: From the top view 21 mm by 18 mm (0.83 x 0.71 Inches) and raise 14 mm over the finger.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. 18KT PALOMA PICASSO".

Paloma Picasso was the Daughter of the artists Pablo Picasso and Françoise Gilot. Paloma has been a creative force since the day she was born. Growing up in France, she was surrounded by art and was always encouraged to create herself, which she did with great enthusiasm—firstly, with childhood drawings and, later, through her now iconic jewelry collections for tiffany. Embodying the art and culture movement of the 1980s in New York city, Paloma was a progressive choice for Tiffany & Co.

Note: The pink tourmaline cabochon is in perfect condition, is gem quality with great vivid color saturation and is completely transparent.

Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry box.

ConditionThe overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The aquamarine is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
