The American perennial collection was created by Tiffany & Co. in the early 1980 to recognize and honor the most popular flowers of North America. Five models of flowers in different sizes were conceived, they are; the Dogwood, the Alpine Rose, the Wild Rose, the Marguerite and the Azalea. This pair is the vintage medium size, created at the Tiffany & Co studios, that represent the iconic North American, Wild Flower. All these models have been produced in three sizes; small, medium and large, with a weight range between 9 to 18 grams, with and without diamonds. These are the medium size earrings. They were hand-crafted with impeccable details in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with textured surfaces and fitted at the reverse with gold posts for pierced ears and comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening clips.
