Lynn earrings designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
Very beautiful pair of studs earrings, created in New York city designed by Jean Schlumberger for the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1980. These studs earrings are the Lynn model, crafted with quadriform shapes in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum parts for the settings of the diamonds. All finished with high polished. They are embellished with eight natural earth mined diamonds and fitted with gold posts for pierced ears and butterfly push backs.

Diamonds: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 8 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a weight of 0.32 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 3.25 Grams (2.10 Dwt.).
Measurements: 10 mm by 10 mm by 3 mm (0.39 x 0.39 x 0.12 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold and the platinum and signed in full as follow, "©T&CO. SCHLUMBERGER .750 PT".
Jean Schlumberger
In 1956, he was asked by the president of Tiffany & Co. Walter Hovin to begin designing for the firm. He had his own workshop at the company until his retirement in the late 1970's and was eventually made vice president of the company. Schlumberger design's at tiffany were remarkable for their whimsical interpretation of natural forms. He was especially inspired by the sea creatures and others animals. He was an exceptional designer, jeweler and a master enameller.

Condition: The overall condition of these studs earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold or platinum. The 8 diamonds are secured in their settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
