Beautiful vintage dish plate, in the shape of a five pointed sea star created by the iconic women designer Elsa Peretti. This very decorative and highly collectible piece was carefully crafted at the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1980 in solid .925/1000 sterling silver, with very high polish finish in the upper part and semi hammered frosted patterns in the bottom.
Has a total weight of 249 grams and the overall diameter measure is 8 inches (22.86 Cm). Raise 0.75 inches.
Stamped at the reverse, with the maker's mark, the hallmark for the silver assay and signed, "TIFFANY & .925 ELSA PERETTI ITALY".
Elsa Peretti, was a very famous designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the complete role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
