Pumpkin box designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.

Beautiful vintage rounded trinket box with a lid, designed in the shape of a pumpkin by Elsa Peretti at the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1980. This trinket box was carefully crafted in solid .925/1000 sterling silver and finished with very high polish in the exterior with hammered patterns in the interior. Suited at top with a black silk tassel pom-pom.

Weight: 86.50 grams, (55.45 Dwt.).

Measurements: 60 mm by 76 mm by 76 mm (6 x 7.6 x 7.6 Cm) (2.36 x 3 x 3 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped in the reverse with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed in full, "TIFFANY & .925 ELSA PERETTI ITALY".

She was a very famous designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the complete role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
