Medium left bone cuff designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.
This sculptural cuff is one of the most iconic designs, created by Peretti for the Tiffany studios and from the 20th century. This model was originally created in the 1970's and it was carefully crafted in solid .925/1000 sterling silver and finished with high polish. The free form was conceived to fit the left wrist bone.
Has a total weight of 78.3 grams and a measures of 67 mm (2.64 inches) by 64 mm (2.5 inches) and fit a wrist up to 6.75 inches.
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the year of production, the assay hallmark and signed in full, "PERETTI 1978 TIFFANY & CO. STERLING .925 ITALY".
Elsa Peretti, was an important and iconic American designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
Note: This is one of the very early vintage models created, is thicker, larger and more heavier than the ones produced later.
