Double teardrop necklace designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2019) for Tiffany & Co.
This iconic double teardrop is one of the most recognizable Peretti's designs of the late 1970's. This extra large pendant necklace has been crafted at the Tiffany Studios in the purest plain shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with very high polished surfaces. It is fitted with a Tiffany adjustable silk cord of 32 inches (81 Cm).
Weight: 12.9 Grams, (8.27 Dwt).
Measurements: The main element is 38 mm by 28 mm by 15 mm (1.49 x 1.10 x 0.59 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed in full, "ELSA PERETTI TIFFANY & CO. 18KT SPAIN".
