*Tiffany & Co. 1977 by Elsa Peretti large Touchstone necklace in .950 platinum with black jade
Extremely rare Touchstone necklace designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.
Gorgeous minimalist necklace featuring a dramatic pendant, carved in natural black jade. Is mounted in solid .950 platinum, inlaid into the shapely round disc. The gemstone is perforated and hugged with shimmering the platinum metal to be worn as a slider pendant, it is suspended on a 28 inches (71Cm) rope chain.
Originally was conceived to be touched during the yoga and individual meditation sessions, this is why the carving are so smooth to the touch.
This piece have a total weight of 32.5 Grams and the pendant have a diameter of 41 mm (1.6 inches).
Both pieces, including the chain are stamped, with the maker's mark, the platinum assay hallmark and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. .950 PT. ELSA PERETTI".
