A vintage Elsa Peretti piece from the early 1970's. Created at the New York city atelier and designed as a pendant necklace in the form of an open jug jar.
Is a large solid piece, crafted in 18 karats of polished yellow gold and suited with a plain chain of 30 inches (76 Cm) with a lobster lock.
The interesting fact about Peretti's pieces is, that all of them are not equals, each piece have his own personality and are unique, with some variations in shape. This jug jar was designed to hold a small flower or drops of perfumed oil.
this necklace have a total weight of 23.2 grams and the chain have 30 inches. the measures of jug are 37 mm (1.42 inches) by 19 mm (0.77 inch).
Both, the chain and the jug are stamped with, the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmarks and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. PERETTI .750".
