Comma necklace designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.
Magnificent and extremely rare artistic piece, created by Angela Cummings in New York city at the Tiffany Studios back in the early 1970's. This sleek design has been crafted in the shape of an oversized grammatical comma, with elements made of solid yellow gold of 18 karats, a carving of blue agate and a fitted with a Tiffany chain.
Gemstone: The main drop element is a natural piece of blue lace agate carved in the shape of a comma of about 182.25 carats.
Weight: 41.45 Grams, (26.47 Dwt).
Lenght: 17.5 Inches (44.45 Cm).
Measurements: The main carved element is 53 mm by 40 mm (2.08 X 1.57 Inches) and is suspended from an oval link of 27 mm.
Hallmarks: The pendant and the chain are stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the gold assay and signed, "©TIFFANY & CO. 18KT".

Angela Cummings, was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.
