This is a great bangle bracelet created by the jewelry house of Tiffany & Co. back in the 1960. The statement bracelet has been sculpted with chinoiserie patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured and engraved finishes. The entire surface is conceived in high and low relief with orientalism abstracts designs. The bracelet is fitted with a concealed push box, a hinged safety slash and a security chain.

The term chinoiserie is from the French word chinois, meaning “Chinese” and refers to European artistic style that reflects the influence of China and is characterized by the use of Chinese designs, asymmetry, whimsical changes in size, the use of lacquered materials and abundant decoration. .
