TIFFANY & CO. 1950 Retro-Modern Brooch 18Kt Yellow Gold With 6.48 Cwt Rubies
A post war retro-modern pendant brooch designed by Tiffany & Co.
This pendant-brooch is a superb statement piece, with gorgeous eye appeal created in New York City by the American jewelry house of Tiffany & Co., back in the 1950. The brooch was handcrafted during the post-war period, with retro-modern patterns of multiple geometric elements. Masterfully made-up with parts in yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and white gold for the settings of the Rubies. The central section is semispherical and is embellished with fifty-four natural earth mined translucent red rubies. This piece is fitted in the reverse with double hinge pin bars with a mechanical twisted lock and may be also wear as a pendant in a chain or necklace.
