A beautiful pair of dress clips, created in New York city at the Tiffany Studios during the late art deco period, circa 1940. These dress clips has been carefully crafted with retro and machine age patterns, in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with very high polished finish. Each piece is fitted at the reverse with hinged double pin bars and a mechanical security lock. This pair can be also converted into earrings.
Sapphires: Mounted in a channel setting, with 8 caliber French squared cut of natural vivid blue sapphires, 0.80 carats.
Weight: 18.95 Grams, (12.15 Dwt).
Measurements: Each one is 29 mm by 26 mm (1.14 x 1.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed, "TIFFANY & CO. 14KT"
Collateral: They are accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry pouch.
Condition: The overall condition of these dress clips are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no trace of wear or damage to the gold. The sapphires are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
