*Three-buddhas in temple Chinoiserie pendant in 18 kt yellow gold with 26.55 Ctw in emeralds & rubies
Temple of Three-Buddha pendant.
A three-dimensional sculptural pendant in the shape of an eastern three-body temple with intricate roofing and columns. The main elements are three natural green emeralds carefully carved in the shape of seated Buddhas, which are placed in three thrones shaped of lotus flowers. The estimate weight of the emeralds carvings are about 22.5 carats.
This piece was individually assembled and constructed piece by piece in Napoles Italy, circa 1960's, It was carefully crafted with intricate details in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and is suited at the reverse with two circulars bales to be hang into a chain or a leather cord.
The ceiling's moldings are decorated, with four-prongs settings that are holding 10 round cabochons cuts of natural gemstones; 3 Colombian green emeralds (0.35 Ctw) and 7 Burmese red rubies, (0.70 Ctw).
It is pretty heavy and large, with a total weight of 55.4 grams and a measures of 68 mm by 63 mm by 20 mm (2.68 by 2.48 by 0.78 inches).
Stamped, with maker's mark and the Italian gold assay hallmarks, "NA 18 KT".
It is in perfect condition, with gorgeous look.
