Italian Gem-set cluster cocktail ring.

An exceptional modern piece of jewelry, created in Milan Italy. This bold cluster cocktail ring was crafted in solid white gold of 18 karats and mounted in full with an exceptional arrangement of natural gemstones, described as follow;

Mount in a five prongs setting, with a beautiful and rare pear faceted cut (20 x 14 x 10 mm) of a pink reddish rubellite of 15.93 carats.

Pave setting at the sides with, 32 round brilliant cut of vivid pink sapphires, 3.20 carats.

Pave set at the counter sides, with 72 round brilliant cut diamonds, 3.15 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.

Has a total weight of 21.9 Grams and the actual size is 6, sizeable. The top view measurements are 25mm by 22mm.

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the Italian hallmark for the assay of the gold and signed, "MG .750".

Note: Rubellite is a rare gemstone. The rubellite varies from a tender pink color to crimson red with pinches of purple where rubies offer deep red tones only. If rubellites are rare, rubies have been considered to be one of the most valuable gemstones on earth.
