*Spritzer & Furhmann 1960's vintage earrings in 18 kt with 6.91 Ctw of diamonds and opal

Pair of earrings designed by Spritzer & Furhmann.

An unusual vintage ear-clips made in Germany during the mid century period, circa 1960's. They was crafted for Spritzer & Furhmann, with an undulated shape of twisted wires made of 18 karats yellow gold and suited, with omega backs for fastening clips. The option of posts for pierced ears can be easily added.

The entire surface is covered with a cluster of numerous four-prongs settings, mounted with 14 European round brilliant cuts diamonds (0.16 Ctw, F/G, VS-2) and 132 round cabochons cuts of natural Australian opals with a combined weight of 6.75 carats.

They have a weight of 18.4 grams and a diameter of 23 mm.

Is stamped with the maker’s mark of the company, the serial numbers and the assay hallmarks "18 KT S+F 575".

They are in excellent condition and are accompanied by the original designer's jewelry box, from the 1960's.
