Spanish Hair Comb 1780 Late 18th Century With Organic Motifs In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Carvings

Rare Spanish Comb from the 18th century.

An impressive and extremely decorated piece of Spanish jewelry from the late 18 century, circa 1780's.

It was crafted with heavy decorated 18 karats yellow gold and natural carvings with three bristles. The upper part in gold, is decorated and chiseled, with late baroque patterns from the period of the kings of Charles III and Charles IV.

Have a total weight of 20.95 grams and a measures of 48 mm by 140 mm (1.89 X 5.5 Inches).

Note: It is very unusual to see a piece like this in this condition that has survived 200 years

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this comb is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
