Turbo shell earrings designed by Seaman Schepps.

Nice vintage pair created in New York city at the Seaman Schepps atelier, back in the 1980. These turbo shell clips earrings has been crafted in the shape of a shell in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with frosted and polished finish. They are fitted at the reverse, with comfortable French omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added if desired.

Gemstones: Bezel set with four oval cabochon cut of natural translucent reddish carnelian with a combined weight of 6.54 carats

Weight: 21.3 Grams, (13.65 Dwt).

Measurements: 32 mm by 26 mm (1.26 x 1.02 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's shell mark, the gold assay mark, the serial numbers and signed in full, "SEAMAN SCHEPPS .750 2995".

Seaman Schepps was an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
